Nottingham Forest to win -1 goal v Bury / EFL Cup - 7.30pm KO
There is an air of optimism at the City Ground this season. They have spent over £25m on 13 new players and Aitor Karanka is building a squad that is capable of pushing for promotion. With the additional quality, it means that they have a lot of options and some good players who have yet to feature this season. They have played 3 times and have won 1 and drawn 2. Bury won their opening game but lost away to Milton Keynes last time out. I feel Forest will have too much quality
QPR v Peterborough / Both teams to score / EFL Cup - 7.45pm KO
A tough start for Steve McClaren and QPR this season. Starting off with 2 losses, tonight’s game won’t be any easier. They face a Peterborough team who have won their opening 2 games, scoring 6 in the process. I do like the look of an upset tonight but I can also see goals as although Peterborough score, they also concede.
Rotherham v Wigan / Both teams to score / EFL Cup - 7.45pm KO
Rotherham started off with a 5-1 defeat against Brentford in their opening game. A few people may have thought the writing was on the wall for them but they bounced back with a 1-0 win against Ipswich at the weekend. Wigan have been involved in 2 games that have finished 3-2; 1 win and 1 loss. I think both sides will fancy their chances tonight.

Leeds vs Bolton / Over 2.5 goals / EFL Cup - 7.45pm KO
Leeds have scored 7 in their last two games, 3 at home to Stoke and 4 away at Frank Lampards Derby County. Bolton have scored in their last two games each, most recently against West Brom at the Hawthorns. The last two meetings between the sides have seen Leeds win 2-1 at home.
Aston Villa to win & Over 2.5 goals in the match v Yeovil / EFL Cup - 7.45pm KO
Villa scored 3 in each of their last two games, and one of those away at Hull City. They conjured a last gasp winner at home to Wigan on the weekend to take all 3 points. Yeovil have not won in 2 this season, only gaining a point so far, conceding 3 but scoring twice themselves.
Exeter vs Ipswich / Both teams to score / EFL Cup - 7.45pm KO
Exeter are on good form at home, scoring 3 times there already this season. They also last failed to score in May last season in a bore draw away at Lincoln City. Ipswich are inconsistent yet have enough to trouble the lower league sides goal. They have scored in their last 4/5 games and the previous 3 meetings between these sides have seen both teams score.
