Live on BT Sports, this game should be decent. Hearts are going through a transitional period with new manager Ian Cathro taking over from Robbie Neilson. I don’t think Cathro has the players to play the type of football he wants and that’s one of the main reasons he’s struggled so far. I think he’s going to need another transfer window to overhaul the Hearts team, whether he gets that is a discussion for another day.

Rangers come into this on the back of some good form and a few confidence boosting performances. They beat Motherwell home and away after losing to Celtic at New Years. Their performance on Saturday in a 2-0 victory vs Motherwell was impressive. New signings Toral and Hyndman were pulling the strings in midfield and Hyndman in particular looks a shrewd signing. Kenny Miller is red hot, as is Barrie McKay and Rangers look value to beat a Hearts side who look out of sorts right now. The question is, can they keep a clean sheet? They’ve managed only 2 clean sheets in their 11 away games. That’s why I’ll be backing Rangers to win and BTTS.
