I know it was a weakened Southampton side, but the way Arsenal went about their business against them was very impressive as they ran out 5-0 winners. They’re playing with a lot of confidence at the moment and with Welbeck back to full fitness this gives the other forward players a kick up the backside as they know they have to perform make the starting 11. Xhaka misses out tonight as he serves the second of a four match ban but it’s Watford who have more concerns. Holebas is suspended whilst Valon Behrami, Roberto Pereyra and Nordin Amrabat are all out. They have managed to win only 1 of their previous 9 games and that was a home F.A Cup game against Burton. Watford have won only twice away from home in the Premier League and those wins came against Middlesborough and West Ham. They are a short price but Arsenal should get it done tonight.

If it wasn’t for their home form then Forest would be in the bottom 3, without a doubt. They’ve won 6 of their 13 home games and drawn 3. The only problem has been clean sheets, Forest have managed only 1 at home all season but today they face a Rotherham side who score an average of only 0.71 goals per game when playing away from home. Only Aston Villa score less on their travels than Rotherham. The goals scored translates to poor away form for Rotherham. They’ve collected only 1 point from a possible 42 when playing away from home. For that reason I think Nottingham Forest are good value at 5/6 to win tonight.

If Leiston win their games in hand then they go top of the league. They face Folkestone Invicta today who have won only once away from home all season. They have managed only 1 clean sheet in their 12 away games and concede an average of 2.50 goals per game. Should be a straight forward 3 points tonight for Leiston.

Although he’s started only 8 games, Britt Assombalonga is Nottingham Forest’s joint leading scorer shared with Henri Lansbury who has departed the club for a move to Aston Villa. Britt has shown signs of getting back to full fitness for Forest who are hovering dangerously above the relegation zone. Although they went down 2-0 to Leeds last game, Assombalonga went close on a couple of occasions. With Lansbury departing, Assombalonga be under pressure to deliver the goals to keep them up. He may also take over penalty duties.
